A master of camouflage, the southern angle-headed dragon blends in among the thick vegetation that grows within Australia’s rain forests. Primarily arboreal, this species is cryptic and slow moving, often sitting motionless for hours on a branch or sapling trunk. On the off chance the dragon is detected, it will discretely slide around to the other side of its perch until it is out of view. Climate change is one of the greatest threats to Australia’s rain forests, where this clever creature resides. Do your part to slow climate change by reducing your transportation emissions! Taking public transit, riding a bike, or carpooling are all great, wildlife-friendly options.
