Northern Ireland has been transformed by “Game of Thrones.” The show has filmed all over the globe, but this region has served as the home of #Westeros, a continent in the series, and the show’s production in #Belfast’s Titanic Studios. “For millions of viewers all over the world, this country has been redefined and remade in the show’s image,” our TV editor Jeremy Egner writes. In the process, Belfast’s filmmaking industry has gone from a sleepy endeavor to a powerhouse, and the region has built a tourism economy on the back of the show. @robert_ormerod shot this photo at Castle Ward farmyard, where tourists can shoot arrows in a courtyard seen in one of the first scenes of the series.
