These dancers were performing at the National Museum of Qatar’s opening reception in Doha. The star-studded affair also featured celebrities, dignitaries and more. The museum, designed by the French architect @jeannouveldesign, is the latest landmark in Doha, a city emerging as a 21st-century patron of the arts and a living museum to architecture. Our 52 Places Traveler, Sebastian Modak — who is traveling to every location on @nytimestravel’s 52 places list — was there for the opening. The fanfare, @SebModak wrote, “is indicative of the future this country is betting on — one that can continue to attract investment and tourism.” Visit the link in our profile to read more about the museum and Sebastian’s trip to #Doha. #🇶🇦
