Meet the green-veined white (Pieris napi)! It has a wide range across Europe, preferring damp, heavily vegetated areas that offer an abundance of food. What does it eat? As a caterpillar, it munches on a range of plants such as the cuckooflower, wild cabbage, and water-cress. Living in dense vegetation also allows the butterfly to camouflage with green foliage.
