We recently learned that Cliff, the @denverzoo's beloved 16-year-old Rocky Mountain bighorn ram has passed away. He will be remembered for his personality, intelligence and the bond he developed with his keepers, who say he loved a good scratch to help remove his winter coat. Cliff could often be spotted overlooking the Zoo from atop Sheep Mountain. Although he lived well beyond the median lifespan of 9-12 years for bighorn sheep, Cliff will be sorely missed by staff, volunteers and guests.
