Mind the gap! Cyril Edward Power’s 1932 #linocut of #Bank #tube station depicts the dynamic energy of the new #modern age in interwar Britain. Exploring themes of speed, urbanism and the rhythm of the human figure, Power also sought to question and, at times escape from, the hectic pace that defined daily life. On view in our #London galleries from 14 September, as part of our Made in Britain #exhibition.
