the stuff of weekends ~ a stretch of perfectly mown field lies just beyond the door, hay made. what remains is the lushest natural carpet as far across and down as I can see. And, I’m hatching grand plans for this evening, once the heat of the day breaks a bit, a little pre dinner setting to enjoy the sunset out over the hills and the company of family. I love the unhurried pace the day is taking and I’m trying to embrace it by forcing us all to stop and sit down and enjoy - I find cheese to be a good bribery too
