we sat, under the norwegian sun, in a freshly mown field- a long table laden with a beautiful scandinavian lunch before us, thanks to the immense talent of our afternoon hostesses @thebotanicalkitchen and @blackwhitevivid .

Elbow to elbow we happily passed plates of pickles, potato salads, cheeses and other farmhouse dishes - the hum of table chatter drowning out the sounds of tractors mowing in the nearby fields but thankfully not the delicious smell of freshly cut hay in the sunshine .
