we picked snow peas from the long stretches of rows @amberwavesfarm - gathering little handfuls and plunking them into the communal picking basket as we went - snacking on the sweet tender greens as well .
.
summer in some of its finest moments inside this basket. we took our bounty back to the those to make lunch which included the gorgeous salad a few posts back .
.
I will never cease to find delight in these simple sort of activities, whether in my own garden or in the gardens of our very hardworking small local farms .
.
this last week has me so inspired for more summer produce, digging in the gardens and perusing weekly farmers markets for better, beautiful and wildly tasty produce .. already dreaming tomato dreams too
