Sir John Lavery’s ‘The Beach, Evening, Tangier’ will be on view in #Boston from 19-20 at the Boston College Conference Center, as part of a highlights exhibition of #Irish Art from the Collection of Brian P. Burns. Lavery first arrived on the beach of Tangier in 1891, the start of a lifelong attachment to the city, where he established a winter studio and visited annually until 1914, inspired by the golden sunlight and mesmerising waters. Open from 12 noon to 5pm on the 19th, and from 9am to 2pm on the 20th. #SothebysIrish #SothebysIreland
