In the 1960s, Yves Klein violently broke with the tradition of figurative painting by swapping his paintbrush for the human body. Collaborating with a group of nude models as well as a small orchestra, Klein conducted the creation of stunning monumental compositions as the models pressed their paint-soaked bodies to large white canvases on the ground and walls. 'Untitled Anthropometry (ANT 5)' from 1962 is on view now in London ahead of our Contemporary Art Evening Sale on 26 June. #SothebysContemporary #YvesKlein
