It’s the work that we do in that time that leads to healing. • Do the work. •There are things that they did to contribute to the fall. • There are also things that you did. • Take honest stock and learn from them. • DON’T NUMB. • Give yourself permission to feel and release. • Feelings aren’t facts. • You can miss someone and them still not be right for you. • You can love someone and that not be enough to keep a relationship alive. • During any period of suffering, you have the choice to either let it harden you or to grow from it. • Don’t let it make you hard. • Lean on trusted friends and family members to help give you perspective and support. • Spend time alone. • Journal. • Stretch. • Cry. • Sing. • Cook. • Create. • Laugh. • You will love again. • Be kind, be easy, and be patient with yourself during this process. • What you need the most right now is love.
