Just arrived in London for @Commonwealth2018 (The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2018 - CHOGM). The Commonwealth comprises 53 independent member nations. Many, like Singapore, were former British colonies or once part of the British Empire, and thus share common links in language, history, culture, and legal systems. Commonwealth nations work together to uphold an open, rules-based multilateral system that allows all our peoples to prosper.

This theme for this year’s CHOGM is “Towards a Common Future”. I will be participating in the Commonwealth Summit and meeting fellow leaders over the next few days to discuss shared global issues of concern. – LHL
