Delighted to see the bilateral agreement for the JB-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link signed today at my annual retreat with PM @ナジブ・ラザク!

The RTS Link will connect Woodlands North MRT to Bukit Chagar in Johor. It will be able to transport up to 10,000 passengers in each direction every hour. When completed by 2024, the RTS Link will make it easier for Singaporeans and Malaysians to visit one another.
I also discussed water with PM Najib Razak. To ensure sufficient supply from the Johor River for both Johor and Singapore, a hydrometric modelling study will be done. We hope to increase the yield of the river, and enhance the resilience of the Linggiu Reservoir.

Our collaboration has made good progress in many areas. I look forward to doing more as we continue to build on the strong friendship between our countries.???? (MCI Photo by Kenji Soon)
