Delighted to present Teck Ghee CCC Bursary Awards and Edusave Awards to about 800 students (out of 1,200) this weekend! They received the awards for doing well in their studies, co-curricular activities, and for their outstanding character qualities. Congrats and well done to all recipients!
In Singapore, everyone who works hard has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of family background. Many students from low income households do very well, and will receive every support and encouragement to do so.
I hope our students will be motivated by their awards to keep challenging themselves to do better, and in the process inspire their fellow classmates to do the same. – LHL
