Happy to welcome German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier this afternoon. This is his first official visit to Asia as Head of State, and I’m glad he chose to visit Singapore.
We last met in Berlin in 2015, when Dr Steinmeier was Minister for Foreign Affairs. Enjoyed catching up with him and had a good discussion on developments in Europe and Asia.
