One more #ThePugliaEncounter, as I am still in the airport, bored, and reminiscing on the pretty pictures.
Our gifts for the attendees: local, artisan, well-thought. A typical Pugliese "splatter" dessert ceramic plate by @ceramichenicolafasanocnf (we also took a tour their workshop in Grottaglie), a beautiful Italian linen napkin from @staystoreroma, small notebooks made of recycled leather and paper, and, the gem (in my opinion), vintage linen aprons, sewed by the two refugees at the @joel_nafuma_refugee_center named Saho and Maigo. Couldn't have imagined better choices for sponsors and collaborators.
Special thanks also go to @slowfoodgrottaglie for all the help and tips, the incredible Macchiaviva Bistrot (Grottaglie), and of course once more @masseriapotenti that provided much more than just a spectacular venue for us.
Well-intentioned people and soulful small (and not so small) businesses, make all the difference.
