Warm days of "Ottobrata Romana" have so far brought many, hearty, greasy, delicious Roman meals, as I've had different guests. We had our (more than) fair share of typical trattoria dishes such as amatriciana, oxtail and tripe (!!!), I made an autumn cheese platter with grapes and pears, orange jam, taralli, olives and radicchio leaves. Then last night I replicated other Roman dishes at home: cacio e pepe pasta, stewed bell peppers with onions (peperonata) and zucchinis with tons of extra virgin olive oil, garlic and mint, with a tiny dash of vinegar. I am in dire need of raw detox, at this point, before leaving for Puglia for #ThePugliaEncounter where indulgence is inevitable.
