"We have no tolerance for hate and violence from white supremacists, neo-Nazis or the KKK," said Vice President Mike Pence during Aug. 13 remarks following Saturday's deadly unrest in #Charlottesville. "These dangerous fringe groups have no place in American public life and the American debate. And we condemn them in the strongest possible terms." The White House continues to face mounting pressure from both sides of the aisle for President Trump to explicitly condemn white supremacists and hate groups in the wake of Charlottesville. The day before in televised remarks, Trump slammed the “egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides.” ⠀
