Authorities in Austin, Texas, released surveillance footage on Aug. 9 that shows a car dropping seven stories from a parking garage and hitting an SUV as it comes to a rest in an alley. In the July video, an SUV rolls into the frame before the vehicle falls front-first into the ground, then flips onto its top. In the moments afterward, bystanders help to rescue the driver. The Associated Press reported police said the driver apparently drove through retention wires, hit a building across the street and plunged below. The SUV's driver was not hurt. Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services officials said at the time that the woman was treated at a hospital.⠀
