Happy announcement: on Monday June 19th I will be hosting a virtual picnic party on the blog! It's a potluck sort of party, where each blogger brings a recipe to our picnic. The idea is to gather around bloggers from different walks of life and background together, and to use our instruments on the web and social media to talk about bigger issues. I believe if we truly are influencers, then it's time we rose our voices to encourage the dialogue and openness as the real power of the internet. These are hard and dark times, and I am sad to say that since I started working on this collaborative post a couple of months ago, many hideous events have happened in the world. That's why we will be celebrating #VirtualMidsummerPotluck4Peace.
I am so excited to have all these colorful, summer recipes in and place! Mine is of course is a Persian one; a refreshing drink made with the simples ingredients of summer.
