Sports arenas can sometimes seem interchangeably generic, all noise and flash and money. But 2 places can be said to reflect the character and ethos of their teams: the basketball arenas in Cleveland and Oakland, California.. The contrast between the 2 has become more striking now that they’re the sites for this year’s @NBA finals. In #Oakland, where @jasonhenry took this first photo, it was lights out before Game 2 on Sunday. Speak to @ゴールデンステート・ウォリアーズ fans and they’ll tell you how much they love their team. Have the same conversation in Cleveland, though, and fans will talk about their love for their city. As heartbroken as @キャブス fans were after their loss in Game 3 they said there was no need to lose faith in the city. Among the other differences are the arena’s names. Oracle Arena, in Oakland, is named after a multinational tech company; Quicken Loans Arena, in Cleveland, is named after a national mortgage company. At Oracle, fans eat gluten-free hot dogs; at Quicken Loans, the menu includes Reuben sandwiches shaped into balls, coated with bread crumbs and deep fried.
