@nytchangster photographed a crowd of #graduates today at the #commencement ceremony for @medgareverscollege. The speaker at the event, which took place at @barclayscenter in Brooklyn: @ヒラリー・クリントン. “I wish I had flown in from the White House,” she told the graduates. “But I’m just as happy to be here anyway.” This was the only explicit reference to Washington in her 20-minute address. But her speech was still pointedly political. Acknowledging the diversity of the @medgareverscollege student body and of Brooklyn, #HillaryClinton called on graduates to uphold the legacy of people like Medgar Evers, the slain civil rights leader for whom the school’s named. “Never let anyone silence your voices,” @ヒラリー・クリントン said. “Make your voices heard every single day.” Calling the class an “inspiring group,” she said, “You come from 94 countries, speak 44 languages. You embody what makes New York and America great already.” At that, the audience in the stadium roared. Visit the link in our profile to read more. #?
