How to pick your WOH-TAH-MELON!
Say hello to my girls. No, really...these are girls! Boy watermelons are elongated and watery and girl watermelons are round and sweet! How can you tell if they're ripe and sweet? ?
Keep an eye out for the field spot! What is that? its the yellow spot that shows where the fruit was on the ground. if its orange or yellow its ripe. If its white...its not!
Look for weblike brown spots. this means bees pollinated it multiple times and its going to be sweet!
Check the tail! If it's dried it's riper and if it's green it's picked too soon.
