ニューヨーク・タイムズのインスタグラム(nytimes) - 1月29日 13時50分

A #Weimaraner puppy gazed out of a window. The photographer @markmakela captured this onlooker in December, while making his way through Philadelphia, where he often works as a freelancer for @ニューヨーク・タイムズ. Over the past couple of years, @markmakela has covered many subjects, but one jumps out for its simplicity: #color. While on- and off-assignment for @ニューヨーク・タイムズ, he has become fixated on the interactions between primary colors, like the deep blue, bright red and drained yellow seen here. “People can remember a song after only hearing a chord once. But if you ask 50 people in the room to visualize, ‘What is Coca Cola red?’ every hue will be different,” he said, in refrence to an idea posed in Josef Alber’s 1963 work on color theory, “The Interaction of Color.” “So I thought, let’s see if I can challenge that premise.” Follow along this #nytweekender as we share photos from a series @markmakela calls #primarilyfocused.#???
