Ang Mo Kio Community Centre is 40 years old!
Celebrated the CC’s anniversary with Mr Yeo Toon Chia (Ang Mo Kio’s first MP), residents and activists last night. They all have fond memories of the CC and have each contributed to make it the vibrant place that it is today.

Contrary to legend, Ang Mo Kio did not get its name from the tomato fruit. The town got its name from a “kio” (hokkien for bridge).
