Alana Nichols (@アラナ・ニコルズ) is the first American woman to win gold at both the summer and winter #Paralympic Games. And tomorrow, the 5-time #Paralympian will try to add another medal — in another sport. She’ll join 9 other women in the debut of #sprintkayak at the @paralympics in #RioDeJaneiro. “I’m an adrenaline junkie,” said the 33-year-old, who previously won gold medals in wheelchair basketball (2008) and Alpine skiing (2010). “I like that immediate gratification of getting a basket or winning a ski race.” But @アラナ・ニコルズ says her past achievements offer no advantages in her new sport.
