A sewing workshop for local children, one activity organized by Daniel Pacheco, a pastor and part-time carpenter, to keep at-risk youth off the streets of Rivera Hernández, in San Pedro Sula, #Honduras. “I was photographing a sewing workshop when I saw firsthand what it's like to live on this street,” the photographer @katieorlinsky said. Less than a block away, she said, members of 2 rival gangs began shooting. The gunshots went on for about half an hour. “The kids were completely unfazed and continued sewing,” she said. Meanwhile, people were looking out from their doorways to see when it would be safe to step outside again.
