Had lively and open discussions at the Group of Thirty (G30) dinner last night.
The G30 is a consultative group on international economic and monetary affairs that comprised of leaders of the global finance industry and academics. DPM Tharman is a member and it was his turn to host the meeting. Tharman invited me, so as usual I had to sing for my supper. :) After my dialogue we turned to lighter fare. Loh Jun Hong and Jonathan Shin from More than Music entertained us with music and storytelling, including this beautiful rendition of Elgar’s Salut d’amour.
