A view from my hotel of the Black Sea, with boats parked on the road — not quite where you’d expect to see them!
Sochi has a long Black Sea coastline, which makes it a popular holiday destination. Sadly, we had no time to enjoy the beach.

Had a fruitful trip to Moscow and Sochi. It allowed me to reacquaint myself with Russia and give our ties a boost.

The ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit in Sochi showed goodwill on both sides, and a shared desire to do more together.

President Putin proposed a partnership between ASEAN, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). Singapore is exploring our own bilateral SG-EAEU FTA, and we also encourage Russia to engage other ASEAN states individually.

These steps will foster economic cooperation, peace, stability and growth for all our countries and the region. (Photo by me)
