Took a walk through Novodevichy Convent and Cemetery for a moment of serenity in a busy day of meetings.

The Convent is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while many famous Russians are buried in the Cemetery, including writer Anton Chekhov, Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev, and Boris Yeltsin, the first President of the Russian Federation.
This is the grave of Yuri Nikulin, a well-loved actor and clown at the Moscow Circus. Two days after he died, his dog also died of heartbreak, so they were buried together. – LHL (Photo by me)
