After a morning stroll along Philosopher’s Walk I go to my favorite udon shop - Omen - for some tempura udon. Season as you like. I toss my cold noodles with seasoned veggies, scallion and a lot of sesame before dipping into dashi sauce. Carb on carb! I finish with pressed mackerel Kyoto style with rice sweetened like dessert. @pichetong #FRtakeover, #kyoto #japan
