Ask me what makes me more nervous than anything in the world and I would probably be too shy to honestly say that it's singing in front of people.
I don't know why, because I am extremely loud and outgoing, but ever since I was a young girl I've loved to sing my heart out, but ONLY if it was in private.
I found this video on my laptop yesterday and it made me think: why do I care what people think about my voice? If singing brings me happiness then I should be proud to be open about it.
2016 is all about going BOLD for me. It's about taking risks; being confident and courageous.
CONFIDENT AND COURAGEOUS. These worlds are typically empowering But they seem to hold a different meaning when related to something you're not comfortable with. They're almost intimidating.
It may be the Scorpio in me, but I feel that I'm always searching and seeking for more out of life. It's hard for me to sit back and be satisfied or to feel accomplished.
I work hard in what I excel at and I make a living by doing what I'm good at. Maybe the lesson in all of this is that true satisfaction in my life will come from trying what I'm least confident in, mastering what I'm weakest in, and finding acceptance and peace with myself even when facing my biggest fears.
