The atmosphere at the men’s wheelchair basketball match yesterday was electric. Singapore went up against reigning champions Thailand.
Our team, a mix of both veterans and debutants, put up a good fight. The players wowed the crowd with their skillful hand-eye coordination - simultaneously maneuvering their wheels while dribbling, passing and making shots.
It was also heartwarming to witness the sportsmanship displayed by both teams. When a player fell on court, everyone on both sides patiently waited or lent a hand.

The Thais took the game 51-19, but our team took our hearts with their grit, determination and dedication to the game. – LHL (Photo by me)
