#7 Penguin Superhighway
In the penguin colonies we saw, there tended to be a penguin superhighway of sorts that led these funny little birds from the rookery down to the waters edge. I sat there for a while watching the endless waddle of penguins in transit. As luck would have it, eventually I just happened to catch this one little Gentoo penguin going his own way down the superhighway. Something within me stirred as I was taking this photo. As Gautama Buddha once said, "If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading." I think this little guy going his own way got that message. I tend not to follow the crowds either and I guess I felt a bit of a kinship with this little gentoo. You go, Penguin! Don't be afraid to go against the flow of traffic. Keep on keeping on, brother.
