I spent so much of my life waiting around for things to fall into place. I was waiting for the right opportunity to come along or the perfect scenario to play out that would lead me down the path that I was envisioning myself on. And all of that time I was I unsatisfied, spinning my wheels wondering when my life would turn around.
Then I realized that you have to get up and go make those opportunities happen. That life isn't about waiting for your stars to align perfectly; it's about using what you have to get to where you want to go. Nothing worth having ever falls into our laps or is handed to us. It is up to us to find our worth and to make our hopes and dreams reality.
