Photo by @mattborowick | After hiking for about an hour, we finally reached our destination, with an incredible view. At Stromness Bay, located in South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, thousands of fur seals and elephant seals, as well as penguins and a large number of other bird species, have decided to visit for the summer months. Maybe it was just the beautiful weather we were having, but it seemed like the perfect getaway for summer if you happen to live near the South Atlantic Ocean.
