Photos by @jonathankingston | Jodhpur, India, is a city full of color, both literally and figuratively. Seen from above, the blue houses are like an M.C. Escher drawing, and they are just one of the many things that make this city so special. I loved exploring the narrow streets and alleyways, and always found something new to explore.
There are many theories about why so many homes in this city are painted blue, including the insect-repellent qualities of blue and the color's ability to keep homes cooler during hot summer months.
No matter the reason, the blue houses of Jodhpur are a sight to behold.
