I’ve been to Japan 5 times now and before this last trip had always wanted to go to Okinawa, so this time, for my “vacation” I finally went! And it was AMAZING! And also slightly difficult bc it was just before their high season which meant a lot of things weren’t open all the time or running, but also way less people which o greatly enjoyed! I figured out how to use translate app to get taxis, and also the ferry to get to this location, which is a part of even smaller islands and where the most beautiful beaches I found were. It was also pretty cheap to get a flight roundtrip from Tokyo, and accommodation was way bigger and cheaper there! Will make a full blog post soon! Have you heard of Okinawa?
