Cinnamon rolls with protein!? Say less.

Each roll is 140 calories with 10g protein, 16g carbohydrates, and 4g fat.

These are a kid friendly, healthier alternative to traditional cinnamon rolls without sacrificing taste, and take about 45-60 minutes total. 👩🏽‍🍳

INGREDIENTS (10 servings)
-60g (2 Scoops) Protein Powder
-180g (1.5 Cups) All-Purpose Flour
-50g Granulated Sugar Substitute (or regular sugar)
-2 tsp Baking Powder
-42g Light Butter
-75g Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
-75g Unsweetened Applesauce
-1 tsp Vanilla Extract
-Pinch of Salt

FILLING:
-36g Light Butter
-50g Brown Sugar Substitute
-2 tsp Cinnamon

ICING:
-31g (1 Scoop) Protein Powder
-20g Powdered Sugar Substitute
-50g Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
-1 Tbsp Milk of Choice

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Add all dough ingredients to a large bowl and mix.
3. Lay parchment paper on counter, generously floured, and lightly press and roll dough into a large rectangle.
4. Soften butter and spread over dough.
5. Add cinnamon and brown sugar over the top.
6. Carefully roll dough toward you starting from the long side.
7. Use a sharp knife to measure out and cut into 10 pieces.
Place rolls in a round cake pan.
8. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
9. Remove rolls from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
10. Mix icing ingredients together.
11. Spread icing over top of the cinnamon rolls, then dig in!
