And the only way to truly convey the beauty of what I saw, is through photos like these, because sometimes videos just don’t capture the art of nature and moments! Do you agree? I had heard that it was beautiful there, and assumed as much given its location, but when I finally saw it in real life, it was completely unexpected. Surreal, raw, and just endless beauty. The first thing I noticed was how crystal clear the water is, and the abundance of colorful sea life below that you can see even from the surface. (Those dots in the third pic are all starfish!) Then it was the lush drops of jungle that dot the sea in the form of islands, with a never ending view of three volcanoes on the horizon. It’s something really special to feel like you’re living in a piece of art! I hope more people will get this experience in PNG!
