For Nowruz, which literally means “the new day” in Farsi, is precisely the “life” part, in the #WomanLifeFreedom revolution. This year the celebration has started early, and in no other place than @epicurious. Many thanks to Naz of @bottomofthepot for including the recipe for Saffron and Lemon Toasted Pistachios from my forthcoming book #PomegranatesAndArtichokes. This is officially the first sneak peek into my book and the first recipe ever being shared online. There’s a bittersweet story from the memories of my childhood memories in the headnote.
