Appeared in Japan's TV program & reported from Times Square! 日本のテレビ番組に出演しました📺🎤

A little while back, I could literally count how many people there were when driving through Times Square for work. This time, I walked through Times Square for the first time in over a year and was quite shocked to find that there were people everywhere I went.

It was the perfect temperature and weather the day of the shoot (April 10th) which was likely another reason why a lot of people came out of their homes. I visited a couple other spots for coverage and found that there were also many people strolling and having relaxed, socially-distanced picnics.

Although so many people have left New York this past year and the city has lost its spark, the sakura (cherry blossoms) that were beautifully and powerfully blooming in Central Park seemed to give a lot of strength, warmth and hope to everyone.

Let's all continue to do our part and be mindful not to loosen safety precautions as we work towards the light of the tunnel. Wishing you a safe and warm Spring!🌸

テレビ朝日『ビートたけしのTVタックル』取材のため、1年ぶりのタイムズスクエアを歩いてきました！🎥💡

コロナ禍の中、時々車でタイムズスクエアを通りかかった時には、本当に数えられる程の人しか見かけませんでしたが、今回タイムズスクエアに行ってみたら、人、人、人...‼️
コロナ前のタイムズスクエアと同じ状態になっていてビックリ!!

この日（4月10日）は良いお天気で、気温も20℃以上あったので、タイムズスクエアだけでなくセントラルパークにもたくさんの人がリフレッシュを求め訪れていました。

この1年で多くの人がNYを離れ、元気がなくなってしまった街に、美しく咲き誇る桜🌸がいつも以上に人々に癒しとエネルギーを与えてくれている様に見えます。

日本では第4波が来ていると言われていますが、どうぞ警戒心＆感染対策を緩めることなく、身近な春に癒されてください。
