Still goin a muerte on La Capella!! Here’s a try from last week where I actually felt like I was gonna do it, until my foot slipped 🙄 Gotta be more precise and take time with my footwork 😬 It’s so easy to make mistakes when you feel strong and pull too hard 🤔 I need to stay relaxed and collected next time I get here and execute!! I know this section where I fell really well now, feels super dialed in which is gives a me a lot of confidence, but damn, its so easy to just make a tiny mistake and slip off 🤯😫🥺 I’ve had a really hard time finding conditions that work for me in this sector this season which is why my tries have been so sparse, but I think I have finally found a solution that will enable me to try more 😅 People might hate on the fan, but as there’s rarely wind entering the cave its proved to work really well for creating an airflow and to keep my skin dry, giving me opportunities to try when I previously would have consider it to be impossible 🤗 For example the day I made this attempt it was around 23 C with zero wind, but with the right angle on the Makita, friction felt prime! Honestly I feel ridiculous I haven’t tried this sooner!! We had a solid Spring heatwave the past few weeks but now its started raining and it’s cooling things down 🙌🏻 Hoping for some drier cooler days to come and to finish this thing off finally 🔥 I’ve still been trying First Round, but have prioritzed Capella for the kast week to give my body a little break from squeezing tufas 😵 Time for a mini training block then back it when the cliffs dry off 🤪 @adidasterrex @fiveten_official @petzl_official @climb_up_officiel @tensionclimbing @frictionlabs @sendclimbing
