⭐️ Push-ups Part 1 ⭐️
Ever wondered if your hands are properly placed for a push-up?
Arm position in the push-up:
✅ Hands should be about 1 thumb width from the shoulder.
✅ Not to narrow and not too wide (see below).
✅ Elbows should be at a 45 degree angle to recruit as much of the chest and tricep muscles as possible.
- Having too narrow of a target is not necessarily a bad thing but it targets the tricep more and reduces the amount of overall muscles used. Choose your position accordingly!
- If your position is too wide, the shoulder starts to roll in exposing the joint in a way that is not necessarily the healthiest. Be warned!!
