📌 DEFICIT DEADLIFTS FOR STRONG LEGS & GLUTES 📌

We are currently working on deadlifts from a deficit on the Strength Path of Dynamic Training 🙌🏻. These are a REALLY great exercise to incorporate in to your workout plan. ⚡️ Working from a deficit:

➡️Accentuates the leg drive on the first portion of the pull. A lot of lifters have the tendency to start to motion with their back, instead of their legs - training this variation helps dial in the technique with the quads in play.
➡️Allows a lifter to train the movement harder, without increasing the weight. More weight = more taxing of the CNS. A harder variation improves strength without as much of an increased recovery time.
➡️Extends the ROM through which you are developing strength, as well as improving flexibility. When you go back to regular deadlifts, the movement will feel shorter and simpler.
➡️Makes the standard start position stronger and more comfortable after training the exaggerated deficit position.
