Shinobu: the Cat Shrine (Neko Inari Jinjya) and the Haguro Shrine!😼💕 At the Cat Shrine, people come to pray for the happiness of their cats! They can also share photos of their cats on a large board. There are lots of cute pictures and stories written on the photos, I’ll definitely bring a photo of my cat next time I visit. 🥰💕🐈 If you like cats I recommend visiting- and bring a picture of your cat to add to the board!🐈🐈‍⬛😻 The next shrine, Haguro Shrine, is famous for being the home of what may or may not be the largest straw sandal in all of Japan! It weighs 2 tons and is as long as 12 meters! 😲✨ It’s definitely a sight to behold. The hike up to this shrine is through a beautiful forest with lots of bamboo along the way. 🎋🍃 I can’t wait to go back and explore more of Mt.
