Was this my worst set? Absolutely it was! But if you’ve ever done 3 position snatches (or 3+ position anything really), you know how rough they feel by the last work sets.
I used to be embarrassed to make noise or sounds when I lift. It took me a solid two years to find my “yell” and be confident enough to do it with other people in the room. Now I have full blown conversations with myself during my training sessions 🤷🏼‍♀️

Training by yourself you can’t rely on other people’s energy or cheering or the “oh shit better do this right people are watching”. It’s 100% you and the energy you bring with you that day. Tell yourself what you need to hear to get shit done, whether it’s cues & nice things (ie you can do this, you’re strong, you’re confident, you’re aggressive, etc) or not so nice things (I don’t think I need to explain these ones 😂).
