A little flashback of when I first filled my beloved @pegandawl Iris Painter Palette, which on a side note smells divine (it’s finished in their all natural Bartram Balm). This was also my first plunge into @danielsmithartistsmaterials with the patient help of an incredible watercolor maker and friend, Kata of @wanderlustwc. It’s wonderful to be in the company of fellow creatives and makers who breathe wondrous treasures into reality but who are also among the kindest of souls as well. I grew up in a maker family with art and craft shows being on a year long weekend schedule. So much time, energy, work and details happen behind the scenes, it’s truly a labor of love, and perhaps one of the many reasons I’m passionate about supporting small shops, artists & makers, family and independent businesses. They make poetry in all that they do and thank goodness for it. And on that note, happy Friday and wishing everyone a most fulfilling weekend ahead. Cheers!
