This evening with more triptychs during random encounters with...hoses. A mustard yellow fellow, patched with pink and blue wrappings to keep from leaking, curled up neatly at home in the tiny village of Tarn Taran in Punjab. The pinkest pink garden hose ever, originating from nowhere, connected to nothing, swallowing a neon lime-colored friend in Bhagalpur, Bihar. And a greenest of green tangled hose, in all places inside a chai shop in the small town of Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh.
